Iams® Dog Food Iams — Founded in 1946, the Iams Company began in Dayton, Ohio operating in a small feed mill. Procter and Gamble aquired Iams in 1999 and not distributes their dog and cat food in over 70 countries worldwide. The Iams Company owns the Eukanuba (www.eukanuba.com) product line and also owns the Iams product line. They offer an extensive selection of dog food for every age and ability of animal.
Old Mother Hubbard Dog Food Old Mother Hubbard — Founded in 1926, Old Mother Hubbard has been an important addition to the line of dog and cat food for years. Their Wellness (www.omhpet.com) line was introduced to the market in 1999 and has become very popular because of its health benefits. It is made from deboned chicken, atlantic whitefish (for cat food) and other healthy ingredients. There is little animal fat to cause cancers and other similar diseases from out of date animal fat foods.
Purina Dog Food Purina — Purina was founded in 1893 by William H. Danforth and is located in Saint Louis, Missouri. The company started out as a feed mill that offered an alternative to oats and corn for horses a nd other important animals of the time. They are now one of the most well know dog and cat food suppliers. Some of their major brands include: Puppy Chow, Dog chow, ProPlan and Purina One.
